  • 14K-Summit Mt. Shasta Serrated Edge Knife 6611N

    $53.00
    CRKT Knives

Sometimes your life depends on the tools you select—tools such as your pitons, ice axe, crampons and knife. Because climbers regard reaching the summits of the 14,000 ft. North American peaks as the pinnacle of achievement, we named this popular line the 14K Summit series.

The Mt. Shasta is CRKT’s smallest and most pocketable model with 2.375″ blades. They’re ideal for everyday carry.

We began with our powerful InterFrame locking liner construction in an easily cleaned open build, with nickel chrome plated zinc alloy scales featuring an aircraft-style drilled “skeleton” design. Weight is reduced without compromising the exceptional strength. The dual liners are 420J2 stainless steel. Handles are designed with an extended guard, generous size and bead-blast finish to give you extra gripping power. Friction grooves at the lock and on the blade spine improve grip in wet and icy conditions.

The high-carbon, 420J2 stainless steel blades feature a rugged modified drop point shape and bead-blast finish. Blade grinds are engineered to retain maximum thickness at the tip and through the length of the spine. This blade is built for real work. Triple-Point Serrations are available on all sizes.

Integrated into the design is the patented* LAWKS® safety, which effectively converts your folder into a virtual fixed blade when the lever is slid forward— very reassuring when you are using your knife for difficult and tiring tasks.

Double-grooved ambidextrous thumb studs allow you to comfortably open or close the blade with a single, smooth, one-handed motion, aided by the lubrous washers at the blade pivot which guarantee continued smoothness.

All fasteners are Torx®, proven superior in initial assembly and owner maintenance, such as tightening the pivot screw for proper blade tension after years of heavy, sustained work loads.

The convenient stainless steel clothing/gear clip is easily removable, attached with three Torx fasteners.

In designing this series, we set out to reach the summit of tough, strong folding knives. It’s all about excellence and achievement. If you’re comparing all-alloy, multipurpose knives, we’ve set the standard. We trust you’ll agree.

  • Abe Elias Saker Fixed 4.53″ Drop Point Plain Blade, Walnut Handle, Leather Sheath 3760

    $179.00

The Saker is a bushcrafting knife by design, which really means it’s a do-it-all kind of fixed blade. The 4.53″ blade is made from 1075 carbon steel with a satin finish and scandi ground drop point shape. This scandi grind gives the blade unsurpassed sharpness while minimizing the difficulty of resharpening. The handle is 4.66″, made from walnut wood with a very ergonomic feel. It does a great job of minimizing hot spots so you can use this knife continuously without fatigue. Comes with a great drop-in leather sheath and multi-use striker. Everything you need to get out in the bush…and survive.

Build a fire or a shelter. Hunt. Forage. If you’re a Bushcrafter, this Abe Elias-designed fixed blade knife will be your go-to blade. A true scandi grind on a 1075 carbon steel blade gives you an efficient cutting tool for all tasks. Just grab hold of the walnut handle and draw it from the thick, high-quality leather sheath. The only thing stopping you from getting out there is you.

When Leamington, Ontario, Canada designer Abe Elias was creating the Saker, he found that giving it a proper heat treat and blade geometry as well as an ergonomic handle, enables longer periods of comfortable use. It’s an approach born from working with hand tools most of his life. This fixed blade survival knife is the go-to blade for those who rely only on their tool and skills to keep them alive in the outdoors. Bushcrafters everywhere will be amazed at the knife’s skills.

Featuring a true scandi grind, the blade is crafted from 1075 carbon steel, and has a voracious appetite for wood. But what makes it unique is that the overall design combines incredible blade geometry and balance with ergonomics. This enables you to control the cutting edge and get work done, while maintaining a comfortable grip on the walnut handle, keeping your hand from slipping as it’s cutting in whatever conditions Mother Nature throws your way. The knife also comes with a thick, high quality leather sheath and a special Bushcraft’s accessory tool that can help wedge, pry, collect pitch, strike a fire starter, and assist in a variety of tasks.

If you are a beginning Bushcrafter still developing your skills, or an experienced one honing your craft, the Saker is your tool of choice. In the woods is more indicative of what can’t it do.

  • Biwa Fixed Blade Neck Knife 3.018″ Satin Drop Point, G10 Handles, Thermoplastic Sheath 2382

    $65.00
    CRKT

A featherweight build for whatever ends up on the camp menu. When even just the slightest extra weight matters, the Biwa™ /bee-wah/ lightweight hunting and fishing fixed blade knife is choice. At only 1.6 ounces, it tucks away as inconspicuously as a few extra dry flies but comes out swinging when a high-alpine trout hits your line.

Designer Alan Folts of Melbourne, Florida created the custom knife that was to become the Biwa™ after weathering pressure from his minimalist hunting friends to create a do-it-all hunting knife that weighs as little as possible. Named after a species of Japanese trout, the Biwa™ hits the mark.

The long distal taper on the satin-finished blade is a powerhouse for paring, capping, and more. When met with the checkering on the G10 handle, it’s crafted so that you’ll know just where the blade is even if the whole knife sinks out of sight. A strong, injection-molded sheath lashes easily to a pack or quickly becomes a neck knife.

    Creatures of the wilderness, beware.

    Features
    • Lightweight: This knife weighs only 1.6 ounces
    • Easy To Sharpen: High carbon stainless steel blade takes an edge well
    • Strong And Useful: Full tang provides strength

  • Blade Lock Folding Pocket Knife Black Zytel Inlay Handles 4013

    $130.00

    CRKT

The BladeLOCK is an incredibly strong folding knife with a blade that locks when open, and locks when closed. The ingenious positive lock system operates by pressing the thumb stud. To open, press the thumb stud and rotate the blade as you would other knives. When you hear the clean, crisp “snap” of steel locking with steel, the blade is locked. The strength of the BladeLOCK meets or exceeds any claimed lock strength of existing production folders. To close, press the thumb stud and rotate the blade into the handle. Snap! The blade is locked closed, with no chance of opening when carried in a pocket.

The AUS 6M stainless steel blade is a Walker Clip Point in satin finish, pivoting on Teflon bearings. The open design 420J2 stainless steel frame receives a contrasting bead blast finish. Black injection molded Zytel is used for the back spacer, lock covers, and scales. Torx fasteners are used throughout.

The trouble with neck knives is they can hang and get caught on machinery. That’s why Ed Van Hoy designed this everyday carry blade, which features a magnetic retention feature embedded in the knife handle and sheath. It stays out of sight and out of mind. • Elishewitz Anubis Button Lock Folder 3.5″ Plain Blade 1120

    $85.00

Allen Elishewitz is an acclaimed young Canyon Lake, Texas, knifemaker who offers a surprising range of custom knives, many with Egyptian-themed names. The CRKT Anubis shows its lineage as an Elishewitz shape, with the benefits of advanced production technology.

For superior edge retention, we use AUS 8 stainless steel in a non-reflective bead-blast finish. A gold-plated Elishewitz logo is inset into the stainless steel blade in the manner of custom knives.

Teflon and brass bearings at the blade pivot assure fast either-hand opening, using dual checkered thumb studs which also act as blade stops.

The button lock gives absolute steel-on-steel lockup, resulting in the strongest lock possible. CRKT has added a version of their patented automatic safety, AutoLAWKS™, giving maximum security against accidental closing. To fold the knife, you must pull back the AutoLAWKS lever and press the button at the same time, making accidental opening of the knife nearly impossible.

Construction is stainless steel for the frame with injection-molded Zytel scales and an inset brushed stainless steel bolster at the butt. The handle perfectly fits the average adult hand. Dual reliefs at the finger choil aid grip, and make opening easier. The Anubis features a removable pocket clip (tip down) for easy carry.

Everything about the Anubis shouts strength. It has the rigidity, sure lockup and heft of folders costing twice as much, and we welcome comparison.

This is a sport and work knife that is built to be around for a long, long time. Who knows? Like Anubis, it may prove to be immortal.

  • Elishewitz Tao Tactical Pen 2, Gray Aluminum TPENAEG

    $89.00

    CRKT

It’s not threatening… looking anyway. On the outside, the Tao 2 Tactical Pen appears to be a highly stylized writing instrument. But once the cap is off, it’s a defensive fighting machine just like the former Recon Marine who created it.

Award-winning knife designer Allen Elishewitz from Lenoir City, Tennessee has practiced martial arts over the past 30 years. So he knows how to make even simple things like pens be a potentially lethal aid in self-defense.

Yet this is no simple pen. Crafted from 6061 aircraft grade aluminum ,the Tao 2 is a precision-machined writing instrument. It will continue writing in freezing cold, boiling heat, under water and upside down or help stop a would-be attacker in their tracks. There’s no longer a need to unscrew the cap. An O-ring enables you to quickly take off the cap, post it on the end of the pen and be ready.

The word Tao means the way. And with it in hand it will show you the path to protection.

  • Folts Minimalist Fixed Blade Neck Knife 2.16″ Black Stonewashed Drop Point Blade, G10 Handles 2384K

    $49.00

    CRKT

Specifically built for anything that needs to be cut, these compact fixed blade neck knives with tough handles come in a variety of different blade styles. In the woods or around the house they feel equally at home.

They’re designed by Alan Folts of Melbourne, FL. A designer and dedicated custom knife instructor with over 20 years’ experience who cares deeply about helping folks learn about knives as tools and passing along the skills of custom knife making to others.

Available in plain edge wharncliffe, tanto and Bowie style blades, they rip through a variety of cutting tasks better than most knives of comparable size. You owe it to yourself to see how something so compact can come up so big with such great control.

Let your first two fingers take hold of the G10 handle. Wrap the last two around the cord fob for extra grip. Then see where you can go with it from there. You’ll find it’s tough to argue against the value of having a knife along with you, especially one as versatile and comfortable as the Minimalist. It’s slim in design only, not features.

They all come with a versatile carry sheath. Not that you’ll be keeping them in there for long. Take your favorite with you for when you might need it most—all of the time.
