CRKT Knives
As clever as it looks.
During his time stationed at Fort Polk while serving in the military, knifemaker Austin McGlaun was inspired to find new ways to tackle laborious camp chores. And so the Clever Girl™ Kukri was realized. A fixed blade design that honors the iconic kukri knife, this reimagined version still brandishes a mighty swing despite being more compact than its predecessor. As a member of the CRKT® Forged by War® program, the Kukri is tough enough to stand the test of the battlefield—and whatever else Mother Nature might throw your way.
With a black, powder-coated blade, this is a machete that is all about function. Just grab hold of the tough, resistant G10 handle. Draw it from a sheath that’s MOLLE compatible for multiple carry options. Then let your body go on autopilot.

Built just as tough as the Gator Machete, the Junior is shorter and more packable. The two-sided blade has both a fine edge for hacking brush and vines and a rough cut saw edge for cutting branches, limbs and small trees. It’s a high-carbon steel shaft with a Gator grip handle. For backcountry travel, when every bit of weight is accounted for, the Gator Jr. is the right machete.

Cold Steel
There are very few knives in the world that we can think of that can out-chop or out-cut a good Kukri. Its true that some of the best Kukris (like our Gurkha model) can be somewhat expensive. While that thoroughbred performs extraordinarily well, sometimes what’s required is a good, inexpensive, workhorse model. And our Kukri Machetes are those workhorses!
The Kukri Machetes are ready to plow through the toughest chores! Perfect as a lighter-weight bushcraft or camping tool that can be carried on a belt or lashed to a pack.
The Kukri Machetes pack a great deal of value into a relatively small, light and inexpensive package.
