Falling between the compact/tactical ESEE 3 and the larger ESEE 5 and ESEE 6 knives, the ESEE 4 is a perfect fit. Just like all ESEE Knives, the ESEE 4 is a no-nonsense knife that you can stake your life on when it comes to performace and durability.
The textured power coat is extremely durable, and will not wear off easily. The 3 5/8″ Micarta handle slabs provide most all hand sizes a secure 4 finger grip.
ESEE knives made from high carbon 1095 steel will rust and stain if not properly cared for, especially on the cutting edge and around the laser engraving. It is the user’s responsibility to keep the blades properly lubricated and cleaned. We suggest using a dry film rust inhibitor on the blade. Use Lock Tite when assembling any hardware, such as attaching the clip plate to the sheath.

The ESEE Model 4 was designed by Jeff Randall and Mike Perrin as an all-around Tactical, Survival and Bushcraft Knife. Simply put, the performance, durability and quality of the ESEE-4 is unmatched by any other knife in its price range.
The ESEE-4 is a fixed blade outdoor, survival, bushcraft and tactical blade made of 1095 High Carbon Steel which holds an edge through the toughest of chores. The ESEE-4 is the longer, thicker “wilderness” model of the popular ESEE-3 tactical knife. With its 3/16″ thick, full flat grind blade, rounded pommel, Micarta handles and light weight, this 7.4 oz knife can serve as a primary backpacking and wilderness survival knife, or fitted to your modular system for duty carry in a tactical environment. This is a survival knife in the truest sense of the word. It is an extremely versatile drop point blade with a 4.5″ cutting edge, capable for all manor of outdoor tasks, including field dressing and preparation of medium to large-sized game animals. The blade edge is sharpened to approximately 20 degrees, and the overall length of the knife is 9.0″.

The ESEE-3HM-K features the famous ESEE-3 blade design married to a traditional handle.
The ESEE-3HM-K features a 3.63 inch drop point fixed blade made of 1095 carbon steel, with a maximum thickness of .125 inch, a Rockwell hardness of 55-57, a 3.38 inch cutting edge, a flat grind, the ESEE logo and a non reflective black powder coat finish. The ESEE-3HM-K has full tang construction for strength; canvas Micarta scales for comfort, and a lanyard hole. A black Kydex sheath with clip plate is included. The ESEE-3HM-K Knife has an overall length of 8.13 inches, and it weighs 5.6 ounces without the sheath. Made in the USA.
