  • D191 Flipper Knife 3.81″ 8Cr13MoV Black Stonewashed Drop Point Blade, Brown G10 and Black Stonewashed Stainless Steel Handle, Frame Lock D191-W

    $42.00

The Ruike D191 Knives designed to exceed users’ expectation. Its black stonewashed finished blade goes through cryogenic treatment as well as other steels in RUIKE factory so that it assumes better properties.

Its handle consists of two types of materials. The brown G10 front scale is finely textured to be skid-proof while the stainless steel back contributes more reliability to the whole handle structure. Besides being lightweight and comfortable to grip, with a roller bearing washer set inside, D191 also offers smooth blade deployment. Comes equipped with a tip-up pocket clip.

For the blade, Ruike chose 8Cr13MoV steel, a reliable steel that is quick and easy to sharpen. Handy for people who use their knife day in and day out. Not only is the steel type highly practical, but the blade is good too! For the D191-B, Ruike used a drop point blade shape with a high full-flat grind. It’s an ideal combination for everyday cutting tasks, like opening boxes or handling cardboard. This pocketknife is easy to open with the flipper, and a sturdy steel frame lock then holds the blade in place.\nThe handle has a textured G10 handle shell to ensure a good grip. Ruike has added diagonal lines that are not just decorative, but also provide extra grip. Your index finger fits comfortably in the finger groove. The ridges on top of the blade are for your thumb during use. Together, the finger groove and ridges ensure that the knife can’t just slip out of your hand while you are cutting.

Affordable and well-made, the Ruike D191 flipper provides a great choice for an EDC pocketknife.

  • Deadline Diskin Design Pocket Knife 3.4″ Two-Tone Wharncliffe Blade and Stainless Steel Handle, Frame Lock 1087

    $74.00
    Kershaw Knives

This one is getting in under the wire — and you’ll be glad it did. Meet the Deadline, from Kershaw and Matt Diskin.

It’s got a lot of special features between its two-toned stainless steel handles. First, there’s the opening system. The Deadline opens with Kershaw’s KVT ball-bearing system. But a manual system like that has to have detent — often strong detent—to keep the blade in the handle until the user opens it. When the blade is fully closed, a depression in the blade is engaged by a ball partially embedded in the liner or handle. The interaction of ball and depression keeps the blade closed. The problem with that is that sometimes the detent is too strong to make opening the knife comfortable. The answer is the Tuned Detent System (TDS).

TDS puts the detent ball on the front scale of the knife in an inset steel plate. This plate enables you to “fine tune” the detent so that it’s perfect — not too heavy, not too light. With TDS, opening a manual flipper knife like this is as easy as opening any other flipper.

Both blade and handle feature a two-toned finish. In this case, Kershaw used gray PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) coating in the grinds and hollows and a satin finish on the flats. The result is a knife with a very distinctive look that walks the line between classy and tactical.

The 8Cr13MoV blade is a modified Wharncliffe with a top swedge. The handles are two-tone-finished steel with cold-forged handle texture for a solid grip. A strong frame lock secures the blade open during use. Kershaw also added a decorative glass filled nylon backspacer in matte black and a moveable steel filler tab so the look is nicely detailed and neatly finished. The pocket clip is Kershaw’s deep-carry pocket clip so that the knife rides comfortably low in your pocket.

    $82.00

    Kershaw Knives

THE DECIBEL SPEAKS LOUDLY, CARRIES LIGHTLY

This sci-fi-inspired knife is sleek, extremely modern, and comfortably lightweight. The Decibel’s slim, linear design is emphasized by dark matte-gray, titanium-carbo-nitride coating on both blade and handle. The Decibel’s blade is quality 8Cr13MoV stainless steel. And even though the handle is stainless steel, too, the discreet Decibel weighs in at just 2.7 ounces. This “window” in the handle lets you look inside and reveals the Kershaw logo, cleverly tucked away on the inside of the back handle. The reversible pocket clip has its own decorative cutouts, echoing the lines of the knife. The Decibel is a fully manual knife, but can be opened one-handed using the thumb stud.

With its lighter weight, the Decibel is an easy folder to drop in your pocket before heading out of the house. You might even forget it’s there—until you need it. Then it’s ready to get the job done. It’s a perfect feature for opening packages, letters, and other everyday items. When you want an ideal balance between ultra-modern looks, comfortable weight, and top performance, the Decibel speaks volumes.

    Spyderco Knives

In 1990 Spyderco shook things up by introducing two knives, the Delica and Endura. First of their kind on the market, both folders opened up the knife market to lightweight performance, one-hand open pocket knives that just about everyone could afford. They settled as our top two bestsellers and their improvement hasn’t slowed since.

We’ve always taken great pride in our efforts to push the envelope of performance by offering exotic blade steels in our knives. With that spirit in mind, we are proud to offer the Delica 4 Lightweight with a blade crafted from K390.

Manufactured by Böhler-Uddeholm, K390 MICROCLEAN® is a state-of-the-art cold work tool steel produced by the particle metallurgy process. Its advanced alloy mix was specifically developed to provide the extreme wear resistance and high compressive strength needed in industrial cutting, blanking, and punching operations. Despite its toughness, its exceptionally fine, homogeneous microstructure also makes it readily machinable and easy to heat treat.
