  • ARK ”Always Ready Knife” Neck Knife 2.5″ H1 Satin Plain Blade, Black FRN Handle, Polymer Sheath FB35PBK

    $120.00

The ARK is a purpose-designed personal-defense knife conceived by U.S. Army combat veteran John Shirley and his friend Sam Owens. While deployed to Afghanistan, Shirley learned that an alarming number of U.S. personnel were falling victim to sexual assault, particularly while showering. Drawing from his knowledge of the Japanese martial arts and with the help of Owens’ skills as a craftsman, they developed the ARK as a lightweight self-defense tool that can literally be carried anywhere. The heart of the ARK is its deeply curved clip-point blade ground from H-1 steel – a nitrogen-based alloy that is extremely corrosion resistant. The curved edge packs impressive cutting power into the compact blade and the clip-point profile ensures a strong, extremely sharp point.

The ARK’s fiberglass-reinforced-nylon (FRN) handle is molded directly onto the tang and features Spyderco’s proven Bi-Directional Texturing pattern and an index-finger groove to a secure grip – even with wet hands.

To ensure universal carry, the ARK includes an injection-molded polymer neck sheath with a breakaway ball chain. Best of all, the ARK and its sheath together weigh only 2.0 ounces (57 grams), so you’ll hardly know it’s there – until you need it.

  • Assist Rescue Folding Knife 3-11/16″ VG10 Black Combo Blade, Black FRN Handle, Whistle, Retractable Window Breaker, Lockback C79PSBBK

    $190.00
    Spyderco

Spyderco named this knife after its principal job function, to assist. The Assist Black Blade is a lightweight folder for emergency fire/rescue professionals and the well-equipped citizen who rely on knives to be straightforward in use and perform flawlessly. The blade is coated in non-reflective black carbon nitride with a patented lift-and-pry (blunt-nose) shape made from high-carbon VG-10 stainless steel and loaded with teeth. Most of its 3-3/8″ (86mm) cutting edge is serrated with the last inch at the tip left Plain Edged.

Above the one-hand-open hole sits a feature called a Cobra Hood™. It’s a metal cap that guides the thumb over the hole for quick, by-feel opening then doubles as a textured leveraging platform for your thumb during cutting. A wavy pattern cut out of the top of the blade and again along the handle is for controlled rope cutting. By placing a rope in the groove (between the partially open blade and handle) you can squeeze the blade shut, slicing and trimming rope in a controlled movement without fully exposing the cutting edge. The handle is black lightweight fiberglass reinforced nylon (FRN) with a survival whistle built into the butt end, shrill and high-pitched enough to get you noticed. A reinforced wire pocket clip attaches through the handle on either side for left- or right-hand use. A retractable and replaceable carbide-tip glass/ice breaker is housed inside the handle and is exposed when the closed blade is squeezed into the handle, retracting when pressure is released.

    Tools
    • Survival whistle
    • Retractable glass/ice breaker.
  • Assist Rescue Folding Knife 3-11/16″ VG10 Combo Blade, Orange FRN Handle, Whistle, Retractable Window Breaker, Lockback C79PSOR

    $175.00
    Spyderco Knives

Spyderco named this knife after its principal job function, to Assist. The Assist was designed for emergency/fire/rescue professionals (and for the well-equipped civilian) who rely on their knives to function flawlessly under pressure. Even with twenty-five years experience in making rescue knives, Spyderco still offering new high-tech features and the Assist model showcases the latest and greatest in this knife genre.

The VG-10 patented blunt-tipped blade is a toothy eighty-percent SpyderEdged for aggressively cutting seatbelts and fibrous material. The last inch of the tip we’ve left PlainEdge for detailed cutting (think sharpening pencils). Perched above the Round Hole, a Cobra Hood positions the thumb directly over the hole for quick blade deployment, then doubles as a leveraging platform for the thumb. The wavy pattern cut from the top of the blade (created by a fireman from Sweden) and along the inside of the handle let you place a piece of rope (between the half-open blade and handle) and scissor the blade shut- especially convenient for cutting rope in-and-around flesh without having to fully open/expose the knife’s blade. The safety orange FRN handle is a molded wonder of Bi-Directional textured contours and bulges that ergonomically wrap around your palm. In the closed position, squeeze the blade deeper into the handle and a retractable carbide tip protrudes out from the base for breaking glass. Outlined in contrasting black on the handle’s spine is a shrill and attention-pitched survival whistle. Carries left/right handed, tip-up by means of a tension wire clip.

  • Atlantic Salt Folding Knife 3.69″ H2 Serrated Rescue Blade, Yellow FRN Handle, Lockback C89SYL

    $173.00
    Spyderco

It’s been speculated the sheepfoot shaped blade originated with mariners who found the rounded tip especially beneficial when the knife was accidentally dropped (think working on a ship in pitching seas) as it couldn’t stab the foot when hitting the deck. It’s also been hypothesized that commanding officers on these ships preferred rambunctious hardworking sailors carry knives without pointed tips, especially while in port blowing off steam after months at sea.

Spyderco’s Rescue knives are long favored by seafarers and the design has since been embraced by rescue workers, EMT’s and ranchers-anyone cutting around flesh in an emergency. The Atlantic Salt is a modified Rescue made with state-of-the-art, ultra-corrosion-resistant H-2 steel. The hollow-ground blade is available in SpyderEdge offering remarkable cutting performance in and around fresh and saltwater. The molded FRN handle includes a shackle key and is available in black or bright yellow and features a reversible black-coated titanium pocket clip for tip-up carry on either the left or right side. We recommend threading a thong or lanyard cord through the lanyard hole for back-up retention around water, where once dropped, a knife is often irretrievable or lost.

  • BaliYo Flip Pen Heavy Duty Brown/Green YUS113

    $49.00

    Spyderco

Many knife fans have a special affinity for the Filipino balisong or butterfly knife. Its unique twin-handled design allows it to be spun, flipped, twirled, and manipulated in countless ways, challenging their dexterity and creativity and providing endless hours of fun. Unfortunately, the legality of balisongs is restricted in many areas and practicing with them—even for fun—is not a “socially friendly” activity.

The BaliYo solves that problem by combining the distinctive twin-handled design of a balisong with a high-performance pen instead of a blade. The result is a remarkable skill-based toy that offers all the versatility, creativity, and fun of a balisong in a format that is welcome everywhere.

Spyderco’s heavy-duty BaliYo design features a high-impact central body with a retractable pressurized Fisher Space Pen cartridge that makes it a world-class writing instrument. The pen body is flanked by two custom-formulated polymer handles that each rotate 180 degrees on low-friction stainless steel pivots. These brass-weighted, precision-balanced handles can be flipped, swung, twirled, and spun in a variety of patterns, transforming this everyday writing tool into a fascinating game of skill.

Whether you are a veteran balisong fan, a skill-toy enthusiast, a pen collector, or simply a curious first-timer, the BaliYo might end up being your new favorite pastime.

  • Brad Southard Folder Black Titanium Deep Pocket Clip C156GPBBK

    $359.00

    Spyderco Knives

Brad Southard is a talented custom knifemaker who specializes in high-performance folder designs. His first collaboration with Spyderco features a flipper blade opening device that was pioneered by custom knifemaker Kit Carson. A flipper consists of a small lever that extends from the base of the Southard’s CTS 204P hollow-ground blade and protrudes from the back of the knife’s handle when closed. Pulling on it with your index finger creates a tension against the detent mechanism that holds the blade closed. When the detent is overcome, the blade rotates on a special captive ball-bearing pivot system and snaps authoritatively into the open position.

The Southard’s handle combines a textured black G-10 scale and thick titanium liner on one side with a solid titanium scale on the other. The titanium scale forms the foundation of the knife’s sturdy Reeve Integral Lock (R.I.L.) mechanism and features a small inlaid G-10 panel that acts as an overtravel stop when releasing the lock mechanism. It is also home to the knife’s matching stainless steel clip, which supports right-side tip-up carry.

  • Chicago Folding Knife 2″ CTS-BD1N Satin Plain Blade, Black G10 Handle, Liner Lock C130GP

    $92.00
    Spyderco

Laws. Whether necessary, good, or just nutty, they’re intended to establish order and ward-off chaos. When our government and society implement rules we do our best to live within their parameters.

As an example, many U.S. metropolitan cities draw the line for carrying pocketknives in public to knives with blades two-inches in length or under. Welcome to Chicago! If I were a Chicagoan and carried a pocketknife regularly, I might be inclined (as a law abiding citizen) to carry a tool falling under this city’s restriction.

The Spyderco C130G Chicago is just that. Two-inches of flat ground CTS BD1N blade urbanely outfitted with black G-10 handle scales and Michael Walker LinerLock®.  The handle is shaped and sized ergonomically with full-length skeletonized liners inside for strength without bulk or weight.

Its leaf-like shaped blade effectively cuts across the board, from significant strenuous cuts like carpet and poly rope to something as simple as fingernail cleaning or scraping tape off of glass.

A deep pocket clip burrows the knife down into a pant’s pocket with the tip facing up ready to carry left- or right-handed. This one is for Chicagoans or anyone looking for a city/suit knife.

  • Clipitool Rescue Multi-Function Folder, Black G10 Handle C209GS

    $89.00

    Spyderco

The ClipiTool Rescue is a multi-function pocket knife that offers three different folding tools optimized for the needs of first responders. Its primary blade is full-flat ground and combines a classic sheepfoot profile with our fully serrated SpyderEdge™ to create the iconic “rescue” pattern. Pioneered by Spyderco in the early 1980’s, this dynamic synthesis provides extreme cutting power while offering the safety of a blunt tip.

For more specialized rescue cutting chores—like quickly removing clothing or boots from an injured person—this versatile tool also features a high-performance hook-shaped cutter. Sharpened only on its interior surface, it cuts with impressive authority while greatly minimizing any risk to the victim. Like the primary blade, the rescue hook is supported by a Liner Lock mechanism to lock it securely open during use.

A non-locking, hollow-ground screwdriver blade rounds out the selection of tools and provides an additional level of functionality. All three blades are crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel and include a Trademark Round Hole for quick one-handed access. They are housed in a handle featuring nested stainless steel liners, textured black G-10 scales, solid stainless steel backspacers and springs, and a two-position hourglass clip that provides a choice of right-side tip-up or tip-down carry.

The current version of the lightweight Dragonfly, the Dragonfly 2, has evolved to include a reversible deep-pocket wire clip that provides ambidextrous tip-up carry. It features a versatile leaf-shaped blade ground from VG-10 stainless steel and a sturdy back lock mechanism that locks the blade securely in the open position.

This version of the Dragonfly 2 boasts a bright orange FRN handle that makes the knife easy to find and hard to lose, even in low-visibility conditions.

  • Dragonfly Folding Knife SS Tattoo 2-5/16″ VG10 Plain Blade, Steel Handle with Etch, Lockback C28PT

    $137.00
    Spyderco Knives

At Spyderco we design and manufacture knives to be functional, elemental cutting tools you will use and can rely on for years to come. Function and cutting performance are our primary focus but we do on occasion create something equally beautiful with artistic value. We’re glad to introduce you to our C28PT DragonFly Tattoo folder with multi-color dragonfly etching. We believe it offers the best of both worlds.

Beauty and function. These two words bring to mind different images to different people. Architects think buildings, engineers picture construction projects, knife people think sharp and shiny things, like the Spyderco C28PT Dragonfly Stainless Tattoo with dragonfly etching. Like all Spyderco Dragonflys its cutting ability far surpasses its diminutive package and innocuous name.

It starts with a functional VG-10 blade and an all stainless steel handle. Then it’s beautified with bright poly-chromatic dragonfly art etched into the handle. The VG-10 full flat-ground blade is 2-1/4″ inches of cutting aptitude with a cusp on the blade’s spine to naturally position the thumb in control over the sharp edge. Blade and handle geometry create a variety of grip angles and leveraging points so when held and used the knife feels and reacts like a larger tool in the hand. Even the position of the Spyderco Round Hole, relative to the pivot, is precise for smooth opening, hitting all the correct pressure points in the hand ergonomically. It carries right-hand tip-up with a steel pocket clip that can also be used as a money clip.

Our knifemaking commitment is to manufacture performance and quality that is consistently dependable.

  • DUCKFOOT™ Diamond Knife Sharpener BY200

    $75.00
    Spyderco

Byrd Knife engineers began referring to their new sharpening device as the Duckfoot in their initial design phase simply for lack of a better name. It stuck and it fits.

The Duckfoot sharpening device is shaped like a duck’s foot with varying shapes for sharpening different edges. It offers around 15 square inches of diamond coated sharpening surface for sharpening any tool. It starts as a steel form and uses nickel plating to bond 600 mesh mono-crystaline diamonds to the steel. The diamond particles do not require pressing hard when sharpening (in fact if you press too hard you can dislodge the particles). Gentle pressure does it. The angles and sides include: a 1″ X 5″ flat diamond stone, 3 grooves including a wide radius channel for de-burring and a narrow radius channel for honing pointed objects.

By holding it vertically on a tabletop it tilts from one side to the other raising one edge off the tabletop and creating a 20° angle (40° total angle) for sharpening knife blades. The sides are elliptically shaped. There is a surface with large radius for sharpening PlainEdges and a small radius for SpyderEdges (serrations). Lay it horizontally and it creates a 12.5° angle designed for sharpening scissors. It comes packaged in a suede leather carry case that doubles as a non-skid counter top pad while sharpening.

Previously owned.  Excellent condition.  Missing detailed instructional DVD.

Designed from the ground up as a member of Spyderco’s popular family of affordably priced full-service folding knives, the Efficient proudly includes all the high-performance features and benefits that savvy knife users have come to expect from Spyderco knives in a format that suits practically every budget.

The heart of the Efficient compact, ergonomic design is its full-flat-ground drop-point blade. Precision machined from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, its broad profile and PlainEdge™ cutting edge offer outstanding edge geometry for low-friction cutting performance. An index-finger choil (finger groove) at the base of the edge provides a comfortable purchase for a forward grip, allowing enhanced control during precise cutting chores. To ensure swift, one-handed opening, the blade also proudly features Spyderco’s signature Trademark Round Hole™.

Built on a framework of full, skeletonized stainless steel liners and a stout stainless steel back spacer, the Efficient handle construction provides serious structural strength and forms the foundation of its sturdy Liner Lock mechanism. To guarantee a secure, non-slip grip, the liners are capped with high-traction, textured black G-10 scales and include a generous cutout that allows easy right-handed access to the blade’s Round Hole, as well as convenient, one-handed release of the lock. To keep the Efficient poised and ready for action, it includes a reversible wire clip that can be configured for left or right-side tip-up carry and a lined lanyard hole for easy attachment of fobs and lanyards.

This knife is now being produced with a wire pocket clip, however, the original solid clip version may still be shipping. If you have a specific pocket clip preference, please include a note in the comments section at checkout for which clip you prefer. If we do not have the clip you prefer on hand, we’ll contact you.
