The carabiner gate is easy to carry on a belt loop, D-ring, pack or rope, but not to be used as a load-bearing device. $55.00The Liong Mah series from Columbia River Knife and Tool company is composed of simple and inexpensive folding pocket knives that are easy to carry and simple to deploy. They have a smooth, shaped G10 handle with a deep pocket clip. The blade opens without locking and the hand guard and thumb position orients the knife so that the easy closing shouldn’t effect your work. Because it doesn’t lock open, however, don’t buy this knife for a lot of tough work with odd holding positions because the slipjoint mechanism does not keep the blade in the open position easily.

In the process of developing our line of Carson special forces G10 M16® models, it became apparent that there was a demand for these models from coalition forces serving in desert environments. These models have Desert Tan blade and scales.
The M16®-13DSFG Slim Profile G10 features a 3.50″ (89 mm) dual grind Tanto blade and is ideal when weight and bulk are at a minimum. It weighs only 4.0 ounces.
Unique Design
Just like it’s black tactical counterpart, this knife shares a unique design offering a combination of Carson SF series features requested by military procurement specialists. It has a combined Razor-Sharp and patented (1) Veff™ Serrated edge. The open build allows two Carson Flippers to be incorporated, resulting in a true hilt— up to now rare in folding knives.
Blade and scales are non-reflective Desert Tan. Premium 8Cr14 stainless steel blades receive titanium nitride coating for maximum corrosion resistance. Kit’s trademark dual checkered thumb studs are standard. One-hand opening and closing is quick and smooth.
The open InterFrame build uses Desert Tan scales of G10, and stainless steel liners with friction grooves. G10 is often preferred for its aggressive gripping texture, light weight, and the insulating properties. Which makes it cooler in heat and warmer in cold than metal.
The M16-13DSFG features our automated liner safety. Automated liner safety is the locking liner safety innovation taken to the next level. The automated liner safety sets a pin between the locking liner and the frame. This pin acts as an additional layer of safety, so the locking liner is less likely to disengage during use.
To close the knife, pull the red buttoned safety lever back, slide the locking liner over, and fold the blade into the closed position. Want one of the most secure safety systems on the market? The choice is automatic.
All knives in this series equipped with clip options that allow four-position carry on belts or webbing— tip up, tip down, left or right. (Caution: These knives are not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry.)

Our aluminum frame SF features contoured scales of hard anodized 6061 T6 aluminum, with a perimeter radius for a comfortable grip with or without gloves, stainless steel liners with friction grooves, and a premium AUS 8 stainless steel blade. The Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edge is standard.
All knives in this series are equipped with clip options that allow four-position carry on belts or webbing. Caution: These knives are not designed for tip-up in-pocket carry. They are special knives, designed by the military for special forces use.

For years, Kit Carson’s M16® designs have been our most popular series. And our Z version has built the largest user base of all. These knives are built for function, not fad. And they are exceptional values.
The hefty M16®-04Z and M16®-14Z Big Dogs offer larger dual grind Tanto-style blades. These are full-size working knives suited to large hands and heavy-duty tasks.
They use our very successful InterFrame construction, tough, textured glass filled nylon scales over a 420J2 stainless steel liner InterFrame. We overbuild it for rigidity, using solid glass filled nylon back spacers. And we assemble the handle with superior offset Torx® fasteners. The handle is exceptionally rigid and fills the hand perfectly.
We use our tough AUS 8 high-carbon stainless steel for the blades to give greater everyday utility, and offer both Razor-Sharp and Combined Razor-Sharp and Triple-Point™ Serrated edges.
All models feature the Carson Flipper, which is not only an aid to opening the blade, especially when wearing gloves, but acts as a blade guard when the blade is open.
