Kershaw Knives and Emerson Knives have joined forces on a series of knives that combine the precision engineering of Kershaw with Emerson’s uncompromising functional design.
The CQC-6K features a modified clip-point blade for versatile cutting ability. The blade has two finishes: a satin finish on the grind and a stonewashed finish on the upper. The handle’s front scale of textured G-10 offers a secure grip and the handle’s stainless steel back has a solid frame lock.
The CQC-6K is a manual opener using either the thumb disk or the patented Emerson “wave shaped feature.” This opening feature enables the knife to be opened as it is removed from the pocket. By the time the knife has been fully withdrawn from the pocket, the blade is deployed and ready for use. A small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade is built to catch on the pocket seam, opening the knife as it comes out of the pocket. This instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.
This knife design based off the Emerson Endeavor model without the thumb hole and the pocketclip is reversible for left- or right-handed carry.

The 3-inch blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel—a solid, all-around steel that’s also easy to re-sharpen when needed. The versatile drop-point blade shape handles most cutting tasks with ease. The blade is bead-blasted to produce a slightly darker blade finish that contrasts nicely with the lighter aluminum handle.
The handle is lightweight and feels smooth and comfortable in your hand. Clear anodizing preserves the natural color of the aluminum. A custom pivot cap adds a touch of style and provides some additional handle texture. With its neutral two-tone coloring, the Epistle goes perfectly with whatever else you EDC.
To get the knife down to an impressively light 2.1 ounces, Kershaw added several areas of weight relief. Much of the handle back features open construction to shed weight and provide for easy cleaning. A textured backspacer covers the rest of the handle. The single-position pocketclip also has two cutouts that make this pocketclip unique to the Epistle. The Epistle is a manual-opening knife. This is a fantastic way to enhance beauty and make this knife lightweight- a fraxion less than most knives this size. The black wash finish on this 2.75 inch blade will help keep everday scratches to a minimum. The steel is made with 8CR13MoV with a black-oxide BlackWash finish. This does open the good old manual style- KVT manual opening- but there is a small flipper on the back as well. The Fraxion will be one knife you can not be without. Pocket clip can be changed from left to right. Even though this knife is a manual folder, it opens just as fast as an assisted opener thanks to the flipper on the back of the handle. In fact one of our staff mistaken this knife for an assisted opener when unpacking it for the first time!

The Kershaw FreeFall is a tactically styled blade and a palm-gripping, ergonomic handle. The blade is a modified tanto with a hollow-ground and slightly curved belly for versatile cutting. The tanto tip is flat-ground for strength. 8Cr13MoV stainless steel with an easy-care stonewashed finish provides high performance at an affordable price.
The handle is contoured to fit the palm and is partially embossed with Kershaw’s K-Texture™ grip for an extra secure hold. Heavy jimping on the blade back and on the lower part of the backspacer add to the grip power of this handsome knife. The backspacer has a built-in lanyard hole that’s wide enough to accommodate thicker lanyards.
The FreeFall also has a reversible and adjustable deep-carry clip. A screw on the knife butt enables you to mount the clip for left- or right-handed carry. It also lets you move the clip closer or further from the handle for a tighter or looser fit and makes it easy to accommodate thicker pocket materials like denim. The classy Kershaw Highball (7010) features clean lines and a high-performance blade of D2 steel. This high-carbon tool steel is wear resistant, tough, and offers excellent edge retention. The blade has a two-toned finish: machine stain on the grinds and gray PVD on a recessed groove in the blade upper. This fully manual knife can be opened one-handed using the recessed groove in the handle like you would a thumb stud. But because there is no thumb stud, the Highball retains its streamlined look. The Homefront EDC is among the first in CRKT’s fleet to feature “Field Strip” technology. This technology allows you to clean and restore your knife to perfect working order without tools, right where you stand so you don’t skip a beat.
The breakthrough “Field Strip” innovation comes from the shop of world-renowned knife craftsman Ken Onion and has been over ten years in the making. To disassemble the Homefront when the knife is in the closed position, push the front release lever away from the blade, then spin the turn release wheel on the rear of the handle away from the pivot shaft—once you feel the handle release, pull it up and away from the blade. Reassembly is as easy as reversing the procedure, allowing for practical, quick maintenance where you stand.
From his shop in Kaneohe, HI, Ken Onion designed the tactically inspired, everyday carry Homefront knife to stay true to its vintage roots. The bayonet lug-style flipper sets off the smooth open action of the 3.5″ modified drop point blade, while tank jimping on the backstrap sits snugly against your palm.
It stands up to the looks of a WWI heirloom, and it sure as hell stands up to any job it encounters. The handles are made from black glass reinforced nylon and house an impressively beefy German 1.4116 stainless steel blade.
