Our M16®-14ZSF model features our super rigid InterFrame build with 420J2 stainless steel liners, threaded stainless steel back spacers, and Desert Camo pattern glass-reinforced nylon scales. The blade is a non-reflective bead-blast finished AUS 8 stainless steel. It blends and almost disappears in the desert.
Our tactical SF model features two Carson Flippers, resulting in a true hilt when the blade is opened. Our Big Dog glass-reinforced nylon version has a 3.875″ (98 mm) blade and full-size handle with a pommel which is exceptionally powerful in tactical situations. Weight is a hefty 6.3 oz. (179 g).
It also features our automated liner safety. Automated liner safety is the locking liner safety innovation taken to the next level. The swedged and recurved blade is ground to a spear point shape, using premium 1.4116 stainless steel in non-reflective frost finish to offer superior edge retention. The grind incorporates a false top edge and deep belly, yet retains a full width central spine for most of its length for maximum strength. Custom knife maker and Knife makers’ Guild member Kit Carson is widely known for his M16® design, which we offer in many CRKT® production models. But since 1990, Kit’s most consistent selling custom model has been his classic M4™. In his usual unassuming manner, Kit says, “I guess you’d say it’s my flagship custom. It’s simple, with form following function. No tricks that look slick but aren’t worth a flip in your hand. I’ve made many variations on it, from exotic collectibles to working tacticals, in maybe 20 versions. But I still get more and more calls to make the M4.”
This year we’re offering the M4 design in Kit’s smaller every day carry (E.D.C.) size.
The M4™-02W Burled Wood is a deluxe model with burled wood scales and brushed stainless steel bolsters. It’s a very classy look.

The basic construction is Columbia River’s rigid InterFrame build with two 420J2 stainless steel liners, one locking. The blade is premium AUS 8 stainless steel with a Razor-Sharp edge and a synthetic filled thumb stud, pivoting smoothly on Teflon bearings at the blade pivot. They found a way to duplicate the hand file work inside and outside Barry’s back spacer with CNC machining.
The understated 7402SK features a satin finished blade, black titanium nitride coated frame and gray anodized scales. The back spacer, Torx scale screws and removable custom clip are polished stainless steel. The clip screws, thumb stud, and blade pivot hardware are also bright polished.

The Woods Kangee is designed by Ryan Johnson of RMJ Tactical to make your life easy when you’re off the grid. The design for this t-hawk evolved from the original Kangee™ Tactical Tomahawk. The Woods Kangee has a solid chunk of 1055 carbon steel that is hot forged into a rock-solid head and features a hammer finish. The t-hawk has primary and secondary edge bevels that are flat ground to cut through timber like an Oregon beaver. A spike on the opposite end splits ultra-tough wood knots like a boss.
The thick wood handle is made in the USA from Tennessee hickory. It’s comfortable in hand and sealed with a lacquer coat that adds durability when you’re in the back country.
