Additionally, the steel is bonded with Carbonitride Titanium to provide an added layer of unparalleled rust and corrosion resistance. The same treatment also makes the components up to 10x harder than untreated steel, affording exceptional strength and edge retention over time. Featuring a robust dual locking system as well, the Marlin Spike can be locked into place when not in use. When in use, it can help loosen knots with ease. In addition it can be used for unlaying rope and completely untying knots.
