The Liong Mah series from Columbia River Knife and Tool company is composed of simple and inexpensive folding pocket knives that are easy to carry and simple to deploy. They have a smooth, shaped G10 handle with a deep pocket clip. The blade opens without locking and the hand guard and thumb position orients the knife so that the easy closing shouldn’t effect your work. Because it doesn’t lock open, however, don’t buy this knife for a lot of tough work with odd holding positions because the slipjoint mechanism does not keep the blade in the open position easily.
