Rescue 79mm Folding Knife 3-1/8″ VG10 Satin Serrated Blade, Orange FRN Handle, Lockback C45SOR
$123.00Spyderco Knives
Reasons we offer smaller knives are numerous but essentially people’s hands come in different sizes and we occasionally find ourselves in social situations that dictate use of a smaller blade. Many think smaller versions of the same model are simply shrunk down. Not so. For every design to reach its utmost level of ergonomic comfort and maximum performance we often take features and engineer/rework them into a more diminutive pattern. An example is our 79mm version of the Rescue Model.
A smaller equivalent of the C14 93mm Rescue, it too has a flat saber-ground, SpyderEdge, VG-10 blade that ends in a sheepfoot safety tip. For smoother thumb rotation we enlarged the Spyderco Trademark Round Hole, which in turn creates a prominent hump to position the thumb on while cutting. The FRN waffle textured handle is available in indigo blue, black and safety orange with an ambidextrous, tip-up pocket clip.

Ronin 2 Fixed Blade Knife, 4.12″ CTS-BD1 Wharncliffe Blade, G10 Handle FB09GP2
$185.00Spyderco Knives
A direct descendant of Michael Janich’s original Ronin™ design and close cousin of the Yojimbo™ 2 folding knife, the Ronin 2 is based on a custom knife Janich commissioned from knifemaker Mickey Yurco. The blade of the Ronin 2 is crafted from Carpenter® CTS® BD1N—an enhanced, nitrogen-enriched stainless steel that is highly corrosion resistant and holds an excellent edge. Deep hollow-ground bevels on each side of the wharncliffe blade define a perfectly straight cutting edge, enabling it to cut with full power all the way to the point while leaving its spine thick and strong.
To ensure maximum strength and a deft balance, the Ronin 2 features a skeletonized full tang capped by thin textured black G-10 scales that guarantee a positive grip while allowing the knife to be easily carried and concealed. At the junction of the handle and blade, the tapered, ergonomic profile of the handle flares to create a very effective integral guard that protects the user’s hand from sliding forward onto the edge.
For maximum versatility, the Ronin 2 comes equipped with a custom-molded Boltaron® sheath and a G-Clip™ attachment that supports both belt carry and clip-style inside-the-waistband carry. The G-Clip is also configurable for vertical, horizontal, or diagonally canted carry and can be attached to both faces of the symmetrical sheath.

Serge Panchenko Dogtag Folder 1.22″ S30V Chisel Ground Blade, Black, Aluminum/Titanium Handle C188ALTIBBKP
$149.00Spyderco
Serge Panchenko was born in the Ukraine and immigrated to the United States with his family when he was eight years old. A natural tinkerer with a passion for working with his hands, he began making knives in 2007 shortly after attending his first knife show.
Panchenko makes all types and styles of custom knives and strives to make each one a perfect balance of artistic expression and practical function. In addition to hand-crafted, one-at-a-time custom knives, he also makes handmade lanterns, beads, and other items, as well as “mid-tech” knife designs that combine partially finished, custom-machined parts with his hand-finished attention to detail. One of his most popular mid-tech designs is the Dog Tag folder—a small but amazingly capable folding knife that is the shape of a military dog tag when closed. Since Spyderco specializes in uniquely functional compact cutting tools, the Dog Tag Folder was a natural choice for a collaborative effort with Panchenko.
The Dog Tag Folder is a unique departure from Spyderco’s typical folding knife construction methods. Its single-sided handle designed from solid titanium and accurately replicates the size and shape of a military dog tag. The center of the handle scale machined to create an integral bar that houses a steel ball bearing for the blade’s detent mechanism. At the top of the handle is an aluminum back strap that defines the blade’s limits of travel in both the open and closed positions. It also provides protection from the edge when the knife closed.
The “business end” of the Dog Tag is a sheepfoot-style blade. It made from premium CPM® S30V® particle metallurgy stainless steel with a stonewashed finish. To protect the edge when closed, the blade is chisel ground with a single flat bevel on the front side—an unusual feature for a Spyderco knife. Our Trademark Round Hole™ in the blade allows easy opening, and a subtle swedge (unsharpened bevel) and a decorative fuller (groove) near the spine add a touch of style. The blade’s pivot also accentuated by a round aluminum disk that provides stability and structural strength as well as an aesthetic touch.
A non-locking folder, the Dog Tag’s blade held in place in the open position by a detent mechanism. A ball bearing in the handle scale’s integral arm indexes holes in the tang of the blade to hold it both closed and open. Since the blade does not lock, care should be taken during use to apply cutting pressure only in a direction that maintains the knife’s open position.

Triangle Sharpmaker – Complete Sharpening System – 204MF
$137.00Spyderco
The key to sharpening any cutting tool is removing the steel at the edge while maintaining a consistent angle between the blade and the stone. Spyderco’s Tri-Angle Sharpmaker takes the mystery out of this process. It enables anyone to sharpen a knife effectively with just a few minutes practice.
Its durable ABS plastic base contains keyed holes that accurately set the stones’ sharpening angles at a 30° (15° each side) or 40° (20° each side) for sharpening knives. Simply keep the plane of your knife’s blade vertical and draw the edge along each stone to sharpen. It’s that simple. For serrated blades, use the rounded edges of the stones and a slightly looser grip to allow the stone to flow into the recesses of each serration.
The Sharpmaker system includes two sets of high alumina ceramic stones:
1. a pair of medium-grit (brown) stones for aggressive sharpening
2. and a set of fine (white) stones for professional-grade finishing.A set of aluminum safety rods protect your hands while sharpening. All components snap into the self-contained ABS plastic base and lid for easy storage. Every Sharpmaker comes complete with a detailed instruction book and DVD. That guides you step by step through the process of sharpening knives, scissors, awls, and many other tools.
