Instead of a LinerLock, the Military 2’s full-flatground CPM® S30V® blade is supported by Spyderco’s signature Compression Lock® mechanism, which offers greater strength and even safer one-handed operation. The stainless steel liners that form the foundation of the lock are larger, giving the knife increased structural strength and anchoring its four-position pocket clip, which is configurable for left or right-side, tip-up or tip-down carry. The skeletonized liners are nested within peel-ply-textured G-10 scales to maintain a slim profile and complement its open-backed construction to reduce the knife’s overall weight. Like all Blurs, it’s equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities and the high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade steel offers corrosion resistance and hardness. The black Blur has a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated blade for extra corrosion resistance and enhanced looks.
This black Blur has, as you might expect, black handles with Trac-Tec grip-tape handle inserts for an extremely solid grip. The handle itself is durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, sometimes described as “aircraft aluminum” since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. But the main point is that it’s lightweight, extremely durable, scratch resistant and extra tough.
For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening. A short push on the thumb stud overcomes the resistance built into the torsion bar in the SpeedSafe mechanism. The SpeedSafe takes over and the blade moves out of the handle quickly and easily. One-handed opening is easy with SpeedSafe. The pocket clip is reversible for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. There’s even a pre-drilled lanyard hole.

The Emerson “wave shaped opening feature” is a fast, effective, and impressive way to open your knife.
The patented Emerson “wave shaped feature,” a small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade that’s built to catch on your pocket seam, opens the knife as you withdraw it from your pocket. This instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.
But it does take a little practice.
Enter the Kershaw-Emerson E-Train, our “Emerson trainer” knife. The blade is unsharpened so you can safely practice using the “wave shaped opening feature” without endangering either your pocket or your fingers.

Like all Blurs, the 1670CAMO is equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities. The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade with DLC -Diamond-Like Carbon coating. Both the steel and coating help to prevent corrosion of the blade.
The handle is light weight and durable, made with 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts to help secure your grip. Double studs to help open the blade. Black pocket clip can be changed from tip up to tip down. Lanyard hole on the end. There are variations to the color of the camouflages and this is done by the manufacturer- there is no choice in what is in the boxes. Some are darker green and some are more olive and some are more lighter green. Please appreciate the differences in the model that you receive, it is unique to each one made.

The Fraxion, from Kershaw and Danish custom knife and toolmaker, Jens Anso, is a proven hit—and a great choice for the knife user who prefers a contemporary look and a compact size. And now it’s available with a BlackWashed blade and tan G10 handle with carbon fiber overlay.
The black-and-tan Fraxion is a slim, sleek design that weighs in at a “Fraxion” of the weight of other comparable knives. The lighter weight is thanks to the streamlined design as well as to the light-yet-strong G10 handles with a handsome carbon fiber overlay. An inset liner lock secures the blade open during use while also helping keep down the overall weight and maintaining the handle’s comfortable slimness.
