Vintage Mark I Boot Knife C47737
$535.00 Add to cartVintage Mark I Boot Knife C47737
The Mark I came after the Mark II, despite the numbering. The intention was to create a knife that was legal to carry in more places than the Mark II. It seems that a 6-inch double-edged dagger wasn’t allowed in many areas.
To meet consumer requests, Gerber created a smaller dagger called the Mark I. Not only did the company’s designers shorten the blade, but they also reconfigured the handle a bit. It came with a leather sheath that was outfitted with a clip designed for boot carry.
The Mark 1 went into production in 1976. It was made in a couple of different configurations over the years and finally discontinued in 1997.
Gerber Mark I boot knife was previously owned and in excellent shape. Condition near mint to mint, only shows minor wear on the blade from being in the sheath for many years.
Marked “GERBER PORTLAND, ORE. U.S.A.” and a serial #064376 on a front tang. Leather sheath with large clip etched “GERBER PORTLAND, OR. 97223”.
Fantastic little survival and utility knife.

Mini Griptilian® AXIS Lock Folding Knife 2.91″ S30V Satin Flat Ground Sheepsfoot Plain Blade, Black Noryl GTX Handle 555-S30V
$210.00 Add to cartMini Griptilian® AXIS Lock Folding Knife 2.91″ S30V Satin Flat Ground Sheepsfoot Plain Blade, Black Noryl GTX Handle 555-S30V
Benchmade
The 555-S30V Mini Griptilian model features a flat ground CPM-S30V blade, round thumb-hole openers and an AXIS lock mechanism. The handles are made from Noryl GTX with a reversible pocket clip for completely ambidextrous carry. With multiple blade styles, sizes and colors your Grips just got a little wilder.
CPM-S30V Stainless Steel
A premium steel created especially for knives, it is a powder steel creating uniform carbide distribution and clean steel properties. As a blade material, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and superb edge qualities. This stainless steel is extremely well balanced, making it one of the best all-around choices for daily tasks.
AXIS Lock
A Benchmade original, AXIS has been turning heads and winning fans ever since its introduction. A 100 percent ambidextrous design, AXIS gets its function from a small, hardened steel bar that rides forward and back in a slot machined into both steel liners. The bar extends to both sides of the knife, spans the liners and is positioned over the rear of the blade. It engages a ramped tang portion of the knife blade when it is opened. Two omega style springs, one on each liner, give the locking bar its inertia to engage the knife tang. As a result, the tang is wedged solidly between a sizable stop pin and the AXIS bar itself.
Designer: Mel Pardue
