This version features a 3.4-inch, slightly recurved blade, made of 14C28N high-performance, stainless steel, offering excellent slicing and piercing capabilities ideal for multitasking. The blade’s DLC (Diamond-Like-Carbon) coating offers unmatched beauty to complement increased hardness and wear resistance, with reduced friction.
The handle made of 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and bonded with a discreet olive dye for added strength. The rough Trac-Tec material provides a non-slip grip even in wet and slippery conditions. The Emerson “wave shaped opening feature” is a fast, effective, and impressive way to open your knife.
The patented Emerson “wave shaped feature,” a small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade that’s built to catch on your pocket seam, opens the knife as you withdraw it from your pocket. This instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.

Enter the Kershaw-Emerson E-Train, our “Emerson trainer” knife. The blade is unsharpened so you can safely practice using the “wave shaped opening feature” without endangering either your pocket or your fingers.
