It’s lightweight, extremely durable, and anodizes well so Kershaw can create colored handles that are scratch resistant and extra tough. Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts provide an extra-secure grip. The Blur’s inset liner lock ensures secure blade lock up during use.
For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe® assisted opening. Just push on the built-in Thumb Stud. The reversible pocket clip lets you carry tip-up or tip-down comfortably.

Kershaw Knives
This is one of the original Kershaw Blurs, the Blur that started it all.
This Kershaw Ken Onion Blur, Model 1670BLK, has a black Sandvik 14C28N DLC coated stainless steel 3 3/8 inch blade with a black anodized aluminum handle. The Speed-Safe torsion bar assisted opening allow this knife to be opened with one push. When closed this 4.2 oz. Kershaw knife is 4.5 inches long.
For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening. A short push on the thumb stud overcomes the resistance built into the torsion bar in the SpeedSafe mechanism. The SpeedSafe takes over and the blade moves out of the handle quickly and easily. One-handed opening is easy with SpeedSafe. The pocket clip is reversible for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. There’s even a pre-drilled lanyard hole.
