M10 Tanto Bayonet System 12-1/2″ Overall, Tan, MOLLE Kydex Sheath 1948

This bayonet system features a newly improved ergonomic handle which provides “sightless orientation” – meaning that, while the bayonet is in your hand, you will always know which direction the blade of the bayonet is facing, even in the dark, because of the raised “nub” on the top side of the handle which can easily be felt for. This bayonet measures 12.5” overall, with a 7.5” blade length with 6.75” partially serrated cutting edge. The blade is made from 420 high carbon steel with a Rockwell hardness rating of 53-58 HRC . There are “US ARMY” and USA Eagle logos in insets on either side of the rubberized handle. The Kydex scabbard (sheath) features a new Multiple Strip Configuration which is MOLLE compatible and much quieter than standard scabbard designs. The scabbard contains a heavy duty metal retaining spring clip inside — the bayonet will not fall out of the scabbard by accident, even if both retaining straps are accidentally released. Inserting the bayonet into and removing it from the scabbard will put scrapes or lengthwise scratches on the side of the blade with use — this is completely normal and is not considered a warranty or condition issue.
