Like all Blurs, the 1670BLKMAG is equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities. This Blur comes with a high-quality CPM-MagnaCut blade that is attractive as it is functional.
The handle is built of durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, which is sometimes described as “aircraft aluminum” since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. It’s lightweight, extremely durable, and anodizes well so Kershaw can create colored handles that are scratch-resistant and extra tough. Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts provide an extra-secure grip. The Blur’s inset liner lock ensures secure blade lock up during use.
For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening. A short push on the thumb stud overcomes the resistance built into the torsion bar in the SpeedSafe mechanism. Then SpeedSafe takes over and the blade moves out of the handle quickly and easily. The pocket clip is reversible for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. There’s even a pre-drilled lanyard hole.

Kershaw Fraxion 1160. This contemporary and stylish knife has been designed by Danish custom knife and toolmaker, Jens Anso. He has designed the handle to have G-10 scales and carbon fiber overlays. The black wash finish on this 2.75 inch blade will help keep everday scratches to a minimum. The steel is made with 8CR13MoV with a black-oxide BlackWash finish. This does open the good old manual style- KVT manual opening- but there is a small flipper on the back as well. The Fraxion will be one knife you can not be without. Pocket clip can be changed from left to right. Even though this knife is a manual folder, it opens just as fast as an assisted opener thanks to the flipper on the back of the handle. In fact one of our staff mistaken this knife for an assisted opener when unpacking it for the first time!

The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade with DLC -Diamond-Like Carbon coating. Both the steel and coating help to prevent corrosion of the blade.
The handle is light weight and durable, made with 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts to help secure your grip. Double studs to help open the blade. Black pocket clip can be changed from tip up to tip down. Lanyard hole on the end. There are variations to the color of the camouflages and this is done by the manufacturer- there is no choice in what is in the boxes. Some are darker green and some are more olive and some are more lighter green. Please appreciate the differences in the model that you receive, it is unique to each one made.
