The eye-catching blade is made of 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, which can take and hold a sharp edge, yet re-sharpens easily. Then Kershaw’s heat treatment brings out the best in this top-value steel. The blade is stonewashed to help hide hard use scratches. The result is a very distinctive looking blade that performs well, too.
The handle is glass-filled nylon, textured and chamfered for a solid, comfortable grip. Pair that with the deep finger grooves on the underside of the handle and the Flitch offers an exceptionally secure grip. A sturdy liner lock keeps the blade in place during use, then releases easily when you’re ready to EDC it. Equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening and a built-in flipper, the Flitch opens quickly and easily. For convenient carry, it also features a reversible, deep-carry pocket clip that enables the knife to ride well down in your pocket, nice and secure.

The black-and-tan Fraxion is a slim, sleek design that weighs in at a “Fraxion” of the weight of other comparable knives. The lighter weight is thanks to the streamlined design as well as to the light-yet-strong G10 handles with a handsome carbon fiber overlay. An inset liner lock secures the blade open during use while also helping keep down the overall weight and maintaining the handle’s comfortable slimness.
The clip-point blade features a top swedge and a good-looking BlackWash finish. Built of 8CR13MoV stainless steel, the blade offers a sharp, long-lasting edge for day-to-day tasks. The Fraxion is a manual knife, but can be opened quickly, easily, and one-handed with the built-in flipper.

The Emerson “wave shaped opening feature” is a fast, effective, and impressive way to open your knife.
The patented Emerson “wave shaped feature,” a small wave-shaped tab on the top of the blade that’s built to catch on your pocket seam, opens the knife as you withdraw it from your pocket. This instant-open feature is a favorite among military, rescue, and law enforcement knife users.
But it does take a little practice.
Enter the Kershaw-Emerson E-Train, our “Emerson trainer” knife. The blade is unsharpened so you can safely practice using the “wave shaped opening feature” without endangering either your pocket or your fingers.
The E-Train’s G-10 front scale is in “safe-training blue” for easy identification. There’s a left/right reversible pocketclip so you can easily carry it with you to train whenever you have a spare moment.
