Even if it were just a searchlight, the Fenix TK47 would be a great light. Its 700 meter beam reaches further than the naked eye can actually see in the dark. The neutral white LED provides accurate color rendering, further improving night vision. But many long-handled flashlights have too much power to be any use up close. Even their lowest modes are blinding. So Fenix added something we’ve all wanted for a long time: a tail light suited for close-up illumination. The TK47 seamlessly switches from long-distance searching to up-close tasks like reading, repairs, and small area lighting. The neutral white color and dual lights make the TK47 great for search-and-rescue, camping, caving, rock climbing, and urban exploration.
Back in the days of incandescent bulb flashlights, you could unscrew the reflector and stand the light on its tail like a candle. The TK47 brings back that capability. Headstand the TK47 and you can use the neutral white tail light in candle mode, illuminating the center of your campground or tent. Switch the tail over to red light to preserve your night vision, since red is gentler on eyes already acclimated to the dark. The red light even has flash and SOS modes to serve as beacons or personal locators in emergencies. Bust out the headlight if you find yourself in a different kind of emergency – the blinding strobe light and stainless steel strike bezel make the TK47 a fearsome tool in battle.

Like all Blurs, the 1670CAMO is equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities. The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade with DLC -Diamond-Like Carbon coating. Both the steel and coating help to prevent corrosion of the blade.
The handle is light weight and durable, made with 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts to help secure your grip. Double studs to help open the blade. Black pocket clip can be changed from tip up to tip down. Lanyard hole on the end. There are variations to the color of the camouflages and this is done by the manufacturer- there is no choice in what is in the boxes. Kershaw Knives
You know you do it. And you know you shouldn’t. You should never use the blade of your knife—especially the blade of your folding knife—as a prybar.
However, if you’re pry-prone anyway, Kershaw now has the right knife for you. The Barge features an integral prybar that extends from the backspacer of the knife. Now there’s no need to even think about wrenching on something with your blade. Finally, you’ve got the right tool for the job—an actual prybar built into the back of the knife.
That said, the Barge’s other end is pretty handy, too. The shorter blade is a Sheepsfoot with a fairly straight edge, which is a great shape for a general utility knife. That edge is extra handy for when you might need to bear down on something you’re cutting. The stonewashed finish hides scratches easily.
The handle has a faux G-10 textured front scale for grip and a stonewashed steel back with sturdy frame lock. The pocket clip is designed for tip-down carry and is left/right reversible.
