The box comes with 2 powerful magnets for a tight seal and inside the box is a soft cushion foam to safely place the stones and quickly remove when in use. DMT whetstones sharpener feature its signature polka-dot pattern to trap metal debris from the knife and to quickly clean and restore sharpness within a few strokes. Our whetstone kit comes with 3 different grits to complete your sharpening needs. This kit comes with the following grits, Fine (25 mic/600 mesh) use to put a great edge on slightly dull knives or tools. Coarse (Size: 45 mic/325 mesh) use to transform dull edges to cutting conditions and Extra Fine (Size: 9 mic/1200 mesh) use to give everything a polished and razor-sharp edge.
