The DMT® Diafold® Flat File is purpose built for confined and/or narrow sharpening tasks. Only 1/16″ thick, the Flat File features a diamond surface on one side and tapers from the base at 3/4″ to 1/4″. This particular model is equipped with extra-coarse diamond (60 micron / 220 mesh) when significant removal of material is needed to repair a damaged edge. Also, like all Diafold® Flat Files, it is conveniently sized at 9 1/2″ open and 5″ closed. The folding plastic handles also protect file when not in use. Additionally, thanks to the micronized monocrystalline diamond surface, the Flat File hones in a fraction of the time required by conventional files. No messy oils are needed either, allowing you to sharpen dry or with water. Complete with a durable construction that will provide years of consistent performance and reliable service, woodworkers, chefs and other professionals rely on the superior quality and versatility of DMT® products for proper tool maintenance. Like all Blurs, the 1670NBSWX is equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities. High-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless steel provides the Blur’s blade with corrosion resistance and excellent edge-holding ability. The stonewashed blade finish gives the surface a desirable roughened or scuffed look that helps hide scratches and fingerprints.
The handle is built of durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, which is sometimes described as “aircraft aluminum” since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. It’s lightweight, extremely durable, and anodizes well so Kershaw can create colored handles that are scratch resistant and extra tough. Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts provide an extra-secure grip. The Blur’s inset liner lock ensures secure blade lock up during use.
For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe® assisted opening. Just push on the built-in Thumb Stud. The reversible pocket clip lets you carry tip-up or tip-down comfortably.

Kershaw Knives
You know you do it. And you know you shouldn’t. You should never use the blade of your knife—especially the blade of your folding knife—as a prybar.
However, if you’re pry-prone anyway, Kershaw now has the right knife for you. The Barge features an integral prybar that extends from the backspacer of the knife. Now there’s no need to even think about wrenching on something with your blade. Finally, you’ve got the right tool for the job—an actual prybar built into the back of the knife.
That said, the Barge’s other end is pretty handy, too. The shorter blade is a Sheepsfoot with a fairly straight edge, which is a great shape for a general utility knife. That edge is extra handy for when you might need to bear down on something you’re cutting. The stonewashed finish hides scratches easily.
The handle has a faux G-10 textured front scale for grip and a stonewashed steel back with sturdy frame lock. The pocket clip is designed for tip-down carry and is left/right reversible.
