This BARBERSHOP Old Fashioned Luxury Box was created in1970s. It has a solid block head which uses various blades. Nice brass razor in the wood box it originally came in. Box size: 6.25 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 1.5 inches tall.
Franklin Toiletry Co., headquartered at 76 9th Ave NYC, sold the “Barbershop Old Fashioned Luxury” line. They were founded somewhere between the late 60s and mid 70s and they went out of business in the early 1980s. The ‘Barbershop’ series of products included brushes, mugs, and decanters; shaving soaps, shave gear stands, gift sets, etc.
This gift set is used and in almost mint condition.
The finger jointed wood box is very clean; the brass hinges and clasp work fine. The logo on the top of the box may actually have been ‘burned’ in, as opposed to painted or ink stamped.$149.00
