With a big, slightly recurved blade ideal for multitasking, Kershaw Blurs offer amazing slicing and piercing capabilities good for tackling tough jobs. The Blur family of knives have many different versions from the steels to the handle materials. The same great, useful, powerful blade shape with fierce design offer users consistency and dependability. While both fierce and elegant, the mild S-shaped pattern of the Blur blade serves not merely for looks alone. The slight curvature lengthens the edge of the blade and places it at a wider array of angles while performing any cutting motion. This Blur comes with a high-quality Damascus blade that is attractive as it is functional.
The handle is built of durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, which is sometimes described as “aircraft aluminum” since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. It’s lightweight, extremely durable, and anodizes well. Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts provide an extra-secure grip. The Blur’s inset liner lock ensures secure blade lock up during use.
The low profile pocketclip rests on the frame making it easy to pull from the pocket. For right-handed tip up or tip-down carry, users experience trusted SpeedSafe Assisted Opening, razor sharpness, and corrosion and wear resistance.

Kershaw Knives
This is one of the original Kershaw Blurs, the Blur that started it all.
Like all Blurs, it’s equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities and the high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade steel offers corrosion resistance and hardness. The black Blur has a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated blade for extra corrosion resistance and enhanced looks.
This black Blur has, as you might expect, black handles with Trac-Tec grip-tape handle inserts for an extremely solid grip. The handle itself is durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, sometimes described as “aircraft aluminum” since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. But the main point is that it’s lightweight, extremely durable, scratch resistant and extra tough.
For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening. A short push on the thumb stud overcomes the resistance built into the torsion bar in the SpeedSafe mechanism. The SpeedSafe takes over and the blade moves out of the handle quickly and easily. One-handed opening is easy with SpeedSafe. The pocket clip is reversible for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. There’s even a pre-drilled lanyard hole.
