Made from ultra-hard alumina ceramic material, Spyderco’s ultra-fine-grit benchstone used like a traditional sharpening stone. But does not require oil or water. Its broad, flat surface ideal for putting a high-performance finished edge on woodworking tools and all types of knives.
Because Spyderco’s benchstones are flat and broad they are highly effective for honing wide tools like plane irons, chisels, large blades, woodworking equipment, and even ski edges. Available in Fine, Medium, or Ultrafine grits, each 2″ x 8″ stone comes packaged in a rigid polymer storage case complete with non-skid rubber feet for tabletop use. As with all of Spyderco’s ceramic stones, use our benchstones dry without lubricants or oils.
To clean:
Wash with fresh water and scrub metal particles from the stones with a plastic scouring pad and abrasive powered cleanser.
This 2″x8″ stone comes in a black polymer case with non-skid rubber feet.
