The clip point shape has been modified to include a large, angular top swedge that not only enhances the look of the blade, but thins it, making the Believer an excellent cutter. The slimmed blade slices through whatever you’re cutting with ease. The Believer’s handle is slim, too, so it’s a comfortable EDC. A custom pivot with an upraised triangular design and custom over-travel stop add sophisticated touches to the Believer.
Features
- Flipper – May be used on either manual or assisted opening knives. The “flipper” is a protrusion on the back of the blade that the user can pull back on, or flip, in order to move the blade easily out of the handle.
- SpeedSafe Assisted Opening – Assists you to open any SpeedSafe knife quickly and easily with a manual push on the thumb stud or pull back on the flipper; built into many Kershaw best sellers.
- Frame Lock – A portion of the handle (the knife frame) moves behind the blade to lock it into position during use. This is a safety feature of the knife.
- Reversible – Pre-drilled holes in the handle enable the user to change either the tip position or the side on which the knife carries.

CPM-S30V Stainless Steel
A premium steel created especially for knives, it is a powder steel creating uniform carbide distribution and clean steel properties. AXIS Lock
A Benchmade original, AXIS has been turning heads and winning fans ever since its introduction. A 100 percent ambidextrous design, AXIS gets its function from a small, hardened steel bar that rides forward and back in a slot machined into both steel liners. The bar extends to both sides of the knife, spans the liners and is positioned over the rear of the blade. It engages a ramped tang portion of the knife blade when it is opened. Two omega style springs, one on each liner, give the locking bar its inertia to engage the knife tang. As a result, the tang is wedged solidly between a sizable stop pin and the AXIS bar itself.
Designer: Mel Pardue
The senior team member, Mel has been grinding sparks, making knives and creating a following for 25-plus years. His style has a class and simplicity all its own. The Pardue collaborations offer great utility to the everyday knife user while at the same time presenting an upscale distinction. Less is definitely more with Mel’s designs.

Kershaw Fraxion 1160. This contemporary and stylish knife has been designed by Danish custom knife and toolmaker, Jens Anso. He has designed the handle to have G-10 scales and carbon fiber overlays. This is a fantastic way to enhance beauty and make this knife lightweight- a fraxion less than most knives this size. The black wash finish on this 2.75 inch blade will help keep everday scratches to a minimum. The steel is made with 8CR13MoV with a black-oxide BlackWash finish. This does open the good old manual style- KVT manual opening- but there is a small flipper on the back as well. The Fraxion will be one knife you can not be without. Pocket clip can be changed from left to right. Even though this knife is a manual folder, it opens just as fast as an assisted opener thanks to the flipper on the back of the handle. In fact one of our staff mistaken this knife for an assisted opener when unpacking it for the first time!
