First among these is a coarse diamond stone (45 micron / 325 mesh) to quickly restore a neglected edge, followed by a fine diamond stone (25 micron / 600 mesh) for honing a razor sharp edge. The kit also includes an extra-fine diamond stone (9 micron / 1200 mesh) to polish and refine a razor edge after sharpening with the coarser stones, as well as a fine diamond serrated knife sharpening accessory. Easy-to-follow instructions are also included. Thanks to the micronized monocrystalline diamond surface on each stone in the kit, you can sharpen edges faster and easier than conventional stones can. No messy oils are needed either, allowing you to sharpen dry or with water. Complete with a 7-Angle adjustable and non-marring blade guide that also accommodates a greater range of blade spine widths, as well as a fabric storage pouch for portability, the durable construction of it all will provide years of consistent performance and reliable service.
