Vintage BARBERSHOP Old Fashioned Luxury Box with Razor and 10 Razor Blades

This BARBERSHOP Old Fashioned Luxury Box was created in1970s. It has a solid block head which uses various blades. Nice brass razor in the wood box it originally came in. Box size: 6.25 inches long, 3 inches wide, and 1.5 inches tall.
Franklin Toiletry Co., headquartered at 76 9th Ave NYC, sold the “Barbershop Old Fashioned Luxury” line. They were founded somewhere between the late 60s and mid 70s and they went out of business in the early 1980s. The ‘Barbershop’ series of products included brushes, mugs, and decanters; shaving soaps, shave gear stands, gift sets, etc.
This gift set is used and in almost mint condition.
The finger jointed wood box is very clean; the brass hinges and clasp work fine. The logo on the top of the box may actually have been ‘burned’ in, as opposed to painted or ink stamped.

The TAC-Raze is TOPS’ first ever friction folder designed by Leo Espinoza. One of the first things people notice about the Tac-Raze is that it’s reminiscent of a straight razor (although with the recurved blade we don’t recommend actually shaving with it). Leo wanted it to fill two purposes specifically: It had to be a good-looking gentleman’s EDC that could be carried and used in public, and it had to be a functional tool. To accomplish those needs, he started with simple shapes and added curves in all the right places. Even the sheath is stylish, but also gives the wearer a variety of carry options.
It’s not just about looks though. This knife will perform everyday tasks quickly and easily, such as opening packages, cutting down boxes, cutting rope, etc. The TAC-Raze is also a devastating slasher with its recurved blade. It never hurts to have that last line of defense.
It comes with TOPS’ classy Cryptic Cyber Scales on Black G10 handles. The tumble finished 1095 steel blade looks great and has TOPS’ famous differential heat treat. The strong brown leather sheath can be worn vertically or horizontally on a belt for ease of carry whether open or concealed.

The Kershaw 4400ST Wade Officer, part of the Delly Wade Officer collection is a 2-bladed pocket knife . Constructed of AUS6A stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness measure of 55-57. One blade features a plain edge, razor sharp and measuring 3 1/8 inches long while the other blade is sheepfoot serrated and 2 1/8 inches long. Both of the blades are non-locking, for speedy closing. If you thought it didn’t get better, you were wrong!! The handle is composed of copolymer, non-slip, and ergonomically designed for a comfortable grip. The Kershaw Wade Officer also is small enough closing at 3 7/8 inches long.

The knife has a Tanto 154-CM stainless steel blade with a partially serrated edge. The anodized aluminum handle has grip inserts on front and pocket clip on back. You know you are buying the best tool on the market.
The knife is pre-owned and in excellent condition. Comes in the original clamshell box (the box is broken inside) and sheath.
