This elite version of the Military Model takes the performance of this advanced design to new heights with a blade crafted from Crucible’s CPM® S110V—a state-of-the-art stainless tool steel produced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process. CPM S110V’s high volume of vanadium and niobium alloys give it exceptional wear resistance, while its enhanced chromium content makes it extremely corrosion resistant.
Like all the knives in Spyderco’s CPM S110V family, the textured G-10 handle scales of this version of the Military are a distinctive dark blue color. To ensure convenient carry and immediate access, the handle also features an hourglass clip configured for right-side, tip-down carry.

Like all Blurs, it’s equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities and the high-performance Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade steel offers corrosion resistance and hardness. The black Blur has a DLC (Diamond-Like Carbon) coated blade for extra corrosion resistance and enhanced looks.
This black Blur has, as you might expect, black handles with Trac-Tec grip-tape handle inserts for an extremely solid grip. The handle itself is durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, sometimes described as “aircraft aluminum” since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. But the main point is that it’s lightweight, extremely durable, scratch resistant and extra tough.
For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening. A short push on the thumb stud overcomes the resistance built into the torsion bar in the SpeedSafe mechanism. The SpeedSafe takes over and the blade moves out of the handle quickly and easily. One-handed opening is easy with SpeedSafe. The pocket clip is reversible for your choice of tip-up or tip-down carry. There’s even a pre-drilled lanyard hole.

Like all Blurs, the 1670CAMO is equipped with a big, slightly recurved blade that’s ideal for multitasking. The blade shape offers both excellent slicing and piercing capabilities. The blade is made of Sandvik 14C28N stainless blade with DLC -Diamond-Like Carbon coating. Both the steel and coating help to prevent corrosion of the blade.
The handle is light weight and durable, made with 6061-T6 anodized aluminum and Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts to help secure your grip. Double studs to help open the blade. Black pocket clip can be changed from tip up to tip down. Lanyard hole on the end. There are variations to the color of the camouflages and this is done by the manufacturer- there is no choice in what is in the boxes. Some are darker green and some are more olive and some are more lighter green. Please appreciate the differences in the model that you receive, it is unique to each one made.

The handle is built of durable 6061-T6 anodized aluminum, which is sometimes described as “aircraft aluminum” since it is a common material used for aircraft fittings. It’s lightweight, extremely durable, and anodizes well so Kershaw can create colored handles that are scratch resistant and extra tough. Trac-Tec grip-tape inserts provide an extra-secure grip. The Blur’s inset liner lock ensures secure blade lock up during use.
For easy one-handed opening, the Blur is equipped with SpeedSafe® assisted opening. Just push on the built-in thumb stud. The reversible pocketclip lets you carry tip-up or tip-down comfortably.
